Looking for something flirty, comfy, and easy to wear? Our babydoll lingerie collection brings together lace, sheer, and satin styles—including plus-size babydolls—so you can find a look that fits and flatters. A babydoll is a short, floaty nightgown-style piece with a soft bra or triangle cups and a loose skirt—perfect as sleepwear or as sexy lingerie for date night.

Shop lace babydolls for romantic detail, satin babydolls for silky shine, or sheer babydolls for a bolder vibe. Need something special? Try bridal white, classic black, or statement red. Every style is curated for comfort-first fits, adjustable straps, and soft, body-safe fabrics. We ship discreetly across Canada.

FAQs

What is a babydoll vs a chemise?
A babydoll is shorter with a fuller, floaty skirt; a chemise is typically longer and more body-skimming.

Which fabric should I choose—lace, satin, or sheer?
Lace babydolls are romantic, satin feels silky and smooth, and sheer babydolls are light and breathable with a bold peekaboo look.

Do you carry plus size babydolls?
Yes—many styles run XS–Plus with stretchy panels and adjustable straps. Check the size chart and look for DD+ friendly notes.

Is a babydoll good for sleepwear or just lingerie?
Both. Many customers wear babydoll nightgowns to bed thanks to the loose skirt and soft fabrics.

What color should I pick for an occasion?
Bridal white/ivory for weddings, classic black for everyday, and red for a statement, romantic look.

How do I care for babydoll lingerie?
Hand-wash cold (or use a lingerie bag), lay flat to dry, and avoid high heat to keep lace and satin looking new.

Do you ship discreetly within Canada?
Absolutely—plain packaging, fast delivery, and CAD pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about French Postcard — Calgary's favourite adult boutique.

French Postcard is Calgary's favourite adult boutique, located in the south end of the city. We carry premium brands like We-Vibe, LELO, ROMP, and Dame — curated for quality, not quantity. Unlike big-box adult stores, we focus on your experience: knowledgeable staff, discreet service, and products that actually work. Visit us in person or shop online.
Yes! We offer same-day local delivery within Calgary. Order before noon and we'll get it to your door the same day. All orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging — nothing on the outside reveals what's inside.
For beginners, we recommend the We-Vibe Tango X (a powerful bullet vibrator), the ROMP Juke (a pressure-wave toy that requires no direct contact), or the Dame Pom (ultra-soft, body-safe silicone). All are rechargeable and available at French Postcard with shipping across Canada.
Yes — we ship discreetly to all provinces and territories. Every package ships in a plain brown box or padded envelope with no branding. Your label shows only your name and address, nothing more.
Absolutely. Discretion is core to how we operate. Our packaging has no logos, no brand names, and nothing outside that hints at what's inside. Our Calgary storefront is welcoming and non-intimidating. Online orders arrive in plain, sealed packaging — your privacy is always protected.
Top picks for couples include the We-Vibe Sync (designed to be worn together during sex), the We-Vibe Bond (a vibrating cock ring), and the Dame Eva II (a hands-free vibrator). We also carry couples' massage candles, beginner bondage kits, and water-based lubricants safe with all toys.
Yes. We carry a curated selection of BDSM and bondage products — silk restraints, blindfolds, spreader bars, floggers, and beginner bondage kits. We also host educational events like Shibari (Japanese rope bondage) workshops in Calgary. Check our events page for upcoming dates.
Popular picks for men and people with penises include the We-Vibe Bond (vibrating cock ring), the LELO F1s Developer's Kit (a stroker with app control), and the Arcwave Ion (a pleasure air stroker). We carry a wide range designed for all bodies — visit our Calgary location or shop online.
Yes — French Postcard carries a selection of lingerie including bralettes, bodysuits, babydolls, and sets in a range of sizes. We focus on quality fabrics and flattering cuts. Visit our Calgary boutique to browse in person, or shop lingerie online.
The right lubricant depends on your toy's material. With silicone toys, always use a water-based lubricant — silicone lube can degrade silicone surfaces over time. Water-based lubes are also safest with condoms. We carry Sliquid, Good Clean Love, and Überlube. Our staff are happy to help you find the right match.
