Question 1

What is the best sex shop in Calgary?

Accepted Answer

French Postcard is Calgary's favourite adult boutique, located in the city's south end. We carry premium brands like We-Vibe, LELO, ROMP, and Dame — curated for quality, not quantity. Unlike big-box adult stores, we focus on your experience: knowledgeable staff, discreet service, and products that actually work. Visit us in person or shop online at frenchpostcard.ca.

Question 2

Do you offer same-day delivery in Calgary?

Accepted Answer

Yes! French Postcard offers same-day local delivery within Calgary. Order before noon and we'll get it to your door the same day. All orders are shipped in plain, unmarked packaging — nothing on the outside reveals what's inside.

Question 3

What are the best vibrators for beginners in Canada?

Accepted Answer

For beginners, we recommend the We-Vibe Tango X (a powerful bullet vibrator), the ROMP Juke (a pressure-wave toy that requires no direct contact), or the Dame Pom (ultra-soft and body-safe silicone). All are body-safe and rechargeable, and available at French Postcard with shipping across Canada.

Question 4

Do you ship sex toys across Canada?

Accepted Answer

Yes, French Postcard ships discreetly across Canada. Every package is shipped in a plain brown box or padded envelope with no branding — your label shows only your name and address. We ship to all provinces and territories.

Question 5

Is French Postcard discreet?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Discretion is a core part of how we operate. Our packaging has no logos, no brand names, and nothing on the outside that hints at what's inside. Our Calgary storefront is welcoming and non-intimidating. Online orders arrive in plain, sealed packaging — your privacy is always protected.

Question 6

What sex toys are best for couples?

Accepted Answer

The best couples' toys at French Postcard include the We-Vibe Sync (designed to be worn together during sex), the We-Vibe Bond (a vibrating cock ring), and the Dame Eva II (a hands-free vibrator). We also carry couples' massage candles, bondage kits for beginners, and water-based lubricants safe with all toys.

Question 7

Do you have BDSM gear in Calgary?

Accepted Answer

Yes. French Postcard carries a curated selection of BDSM and bondage products including silk restraints, blindfolds, spreader bars, floggers, and beginner bondage kits. We also host educational events like Shibari (Japanese rope bondage) workshops in Calgary — check our events page for upcoming dates.

Question 8

What are the best sex toys for men in Canada?

Accepted Answer

At French Postcard, popular picks for men and people with penises include the We-Vibe Bond (vibrating cock ring), LELO F1s Developer's Kit (a stroker with app control), and the Arcwave Ion (a pleasure air stroker). We carry a wide range designed for all bodies — shop online or visit our Calgary location for recommendations.

Question 9

Do you carry lingerie in Calgary?

Accepted Answer

Yes, French Postcard carries a selection of lingerie including bralettes, bodysuits, babydolls, and sets in a range of sizes. We focus on quality fabrics and flattering cuts. Visit our Calgary boutique to browse in person, or shop our lingerie collection online at frenchpostcard.ca.

Question 10

What lubricant should I use with my sex toy?

Accepted Answer

The type of lubricant depends on your toy's material. With silicone toys, always use a water-based lubricant — silicone lube can degrade silicone surfaces over time. Water-based lubes are also safest with condoms. We carry brands like Sliquid, Good Clean Love, and Überlube at French Postcard. Ask our staff and we'll help you find the right match.
